Documented since the 14th century as the "Camino del Rincón", the Moguer route runs parallel to the Rocina stream and its lush riverside woodland, crossing the La Rocina Protection Zone and the Doñana Natural Park. It is one of the routes of greatest ecological value.
The Hermandad de Moguer, one of the oldest affiliated brotherhoods, has made its pilgrimage along it since the 18th century. On its final stretch, the spot known as Las Tinajas gives the route its name. It usually takes two days; the Hermandad de Huelva, one of the largest to use it, spends the night at Tres Rayas.
